Our Tallahassee Office is Growing!

Carr Allison is pleased to announce the expansion of legal services to our Florida clients with the addition of Jeffrey A. Foster, Jerod M. Rigoni and Kayla M. Scarpone in the Tallahassee, FL office.

Prior to joining Carr Allison, Jeff Foster served as an Assistant State Attorney for nearly seven years.  He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of West Florida and earned his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center.  While in law school, Jeff clerked at the United States Department of Homeland Security.  His practice will include the defense of commercial litigation, professional liability, construction and government torts and public liability matters.  Jeff is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts.

Jerod Rigoni comes to Carr Allison from the Florida Attorney General’s general civil litigation division, where he performed a wide array of civil defense on behalf of state agencies and officials.  He earned his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Georgia Southern University and his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law.  Jerod’s practice will include workers’ compensation, insurance and labor and employment.  He is admitted to practice before all state courts in Florida, the United States District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Kayla Scarpone’s general litigation practice will focus on the defense of premises liability, labor and employment, community/homeowner association disputes and transportation matters.  She is admitted to practice in the state of Florida and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida.  Kayla received her undergraduate degree from Florida State University, summa cum laude, where she was a member of the the Honors Legal Scholar Program and the Florida State University Marching Chiefs and Seminole Sound Pep Band.  She earned her Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law, magna cum laude.  Following her law school graduation, Kayla clerked for the Honorable Mary S. Scriven in the Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division.
