Carr Allison’s Oliver and Vickers Elected into FDCC

Carr Allison is proud to announce that Thomas L. Oliver, II (Birmingham, AL) and Heath L. Vickers (Jacksonville, FL) have been elected as members of the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel (FDCC).  Tom Oliver, a founding shareholder of Carr Allison, is a trial attorney specializing in complex matters involving transportation, employment and professional liability litigation.  A former Chair of the USLAW Network, he is active in many industry organizations, including: the Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA), the Transportation Lawyers Association, the Alabama Self-Insurers Association (ASIA) and the Professional Liability Underwriting Society.  Heath Vickers is a shareholder who defends matters involving trucking and transportation liability, governmental liability, retail and premises liability and products liability.  Heath currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association (FDLA) and has been named on the Rising Stars list by the Florida Super Lawyers magazine since 2013.

FDCC membership is limited, selective and by nomination only.  Election is by the Board of Directors upon recommendation of an independent Admissions Committee charged with the responsibility of making a careful investigation into the qualifications of each nominee to ensure that those selected have distinguished themselves professionally.
