Carr Allison welcomes two new Associates to the firm!

Daniel Harris joins our Birmingham, Alabama office where his practice will focus on employment litigation. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama where he marched in the University’s Million Dollar Band. He earned his Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law. Prior to joining Carr Allison, Daniel served as a law clerk for the Honorable William M. Acker, Jr., senior district judge, in the Northern District of Alabama.

Todd Hunter will focus his practice on commercial transportation litigation in our Tallahassee, Florida office. He received his undergraduate degree from Florida State University and earned his Juris Doctor from the Florida Coastal School of Law. Following law school, Todd spent three years as an Assistant State Attorneys prosecuting cases ranging from DUI to homicide, and two years with a civil litigation firm practicing employment law.

Alison H. Sausaman of our Jacksonville (FL) office prevailed on a motion for summary judgment in federal court on behalf of a national convenience store chain. The court agreed that rain on an asphalt parking lot was not a dangerous condition and granted final judgment in our client’s favor.

Baggett and Ingram Prevail on a Motion for Judgment

Evan Baggett and Josh Ingram of our Birmingham (AL) office recently prevailed on a motion for judgment on the pleadings in a complex tort case. After extensive briefing and oral arguments, the court granted their motion and dismissed all the plaintiff’s claims with prejudice.
