Thornton to Co-Host Workers’ Comp Webinar

On Tuesday, October 16th Shareholder Thomas S. Thornton, III of Carr Allison’s Birmingham (AL) office will co-host a webinar titled “Closing the Challenging Workers’ Compensation Claim.”  Tommy will discuss protecting Medicare’s future interest by providing strategies to employ and pitfalls to avoid to assist in navigating the labyrinth which is Medicare compliance in workers’ compensation cases.  The webinar will also address tricky employment issues involved when trying to separate an employee from employment in order to negotiate a full and final settlement, as well as how to prevent the employee from coming back with additional employment-related claims.
