Sausaman Obtains Final Summary Judgment and Dismissal of Action against Retailer

Carr Allison Shareholder Alison H. Sausaman of our Jacksonville (FL) office won final summary judgment on all five counts against a retail defendant in federal court, including false arrest, negligence, negligent infliction of emotional distress, defamation and malicious prosecution. The court entered final judgment in favor of Defendant. No appeal was filed. The court also awarded Defendant attorney’s fees pursuant to a proposal for settlement.
