Weaver Selected to Serve on Florida Trucking Association’s Board of Directors

Carr Allison attorney Kyle Weaver from our Tallahassee (FL) office has been selected to serve a three year term on the Board of Directors of the Florida Trucking Association (FTA).  Kyle will serve alongside industry members as they continue the Association’s work of promoting and protecting the trucking industry.  Kyle, the only attorney presently serving on the Board, will be heavily involved in issues of tort reform and public policy as the FTA seeks to level the playing field for trucking companies and all civil defendants in Florida’s courts.  FTA is the sole state liaison between the trucking industry and the legislative, regulatory and judicial branches of state and federal government, and is one of 50 state trucking associations that is a part of American Trucking Associations.

Congratulations!
