Noletto and Houston Successful in Defense

Vincent A. Noletto and Heather M. Houston of Carr Allison’s Mobile (AL) office successfully defended their client, a stucco subcontractor, in a week long arbitration hearing centered around allegations made by a condominium owner’s association that the stucco job had failed.  The association sought in excess of $4.5 million.  The defense centered around testimony of improper inspections by the designer and construction defects caused by the general contractor, which led to the stucco failure.  The three member panel found Noletto’s and Houston’s client, the subcontractor, free from fault, but awarded damages against the designer and the general contractor.
