Making a Difference!

When it comes to supporting philanthropic events, Tom Oliver and Russell Allison are doing their part.

On October 12, 2015 Tom Oliver sponsored a golf team on behalf of Carr Allison in the March of Dimes Charity Annual Golf Tournament.  This annual event raises funds for March of Dimes, a non-profit organization that works to improve the health of preterm babies and support their families.

Russell Allison, with Carr Allison also sponsored a team in the 19th Pig Iron Challenge which raises money for Children’s Harbor.  Children’s Harbor is a non-profit organization that provides help, counseling and support for families with children that have severe and disabling illnesses.  The challenge took place this year at the Hoover Met on October 16th.  Approximately 60 teams participated.  In keeping with their traditional movie-themed team name, Carr Allison’s team name this year was The Swineshank Redemption.  They served their delicious BBQ out of Swineshank State Prison.
