Kirkpatrick to Speak on Opioid Crisis at 2019 WCI Conference

Shareholder Donald “Bo” Kirkpatrick, II (Birmingham, AL) is a featured speaker at the 74th Annual Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference on Monday, August 12th in Orlando FL.  Bo’s presentation, “The Opium of the Working Masses: Understanding the Opioid Crisis and its Intersections with Workers’ Compensation Law” will survey the most common State and Federal governmental responses related to the opioid crisis, noting which laws seem to be the most effective in quelling the crisis, exploring how some states are amending their workers’ compensation laws and anticipating how the law may develop in the future.  For more information on the WCI Annual Conference, please visit HERE.
