Jacksonville Just Got Bigger!

Carr Allison is pleased to announce the expansion of legal services to our clients with the addition of Lloyd Johnson Sarber III and Heath L. Vickers in the Jacksonville, FL office.

Lloyd Johnson Sarber III joins Carr Allison as a shareholder where his practice will focus on civil trial defense in the area of commercial motor vehicle transportation law (including tractor trailer, passenger bus, and other large vehicle accidents).  He will also represent clients in matters involving premises liability, municipal liability, bad faith and products liability.

Johnny is admitted to practice before all state courts in Florida, and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Johnny is a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, the Florida Defense Lawyers Association where he served as president (2011-2012), the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel (Board of Directors since 2015), the Transportation Lawyers Association, and the Trucking Industry Defense Association.

Born in Memphis, TN, Johnny grew up in Virginia where he attended Washington & Lee University earning his undergraduate degree, cum laude, as well as his Juris Doctor.  He practiced law in Virginia for several years before moving to Jacksonville, FL in 1997.

Also joining Carr Allison is Heath L. Vickers.  Serving as counsel, Heath’s practice will focus on defending matters involving trucking and transportation liability, retail and premises liability, products liability and governmental liability.

Heath graduated magna cum laude from Georgia Southern University earning his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting.  He earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Florida Coastal School of Law.  Prior to law school, Heath worked for the Georgia Department of Audits and Accounts in the Special Investigations Unit auditing governmental agencies and performing fraud investigations.

Heath is admitted to practice in Florida and before the United States District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida.  He is a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Florida Bar, the Bar Association of Jacksonville and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, where he co-chairs the Premises Liability Committee.  Since 2013, Heath has been named a Rising Star by the Florida Super Lawyers magazine.

Heath is an active member of the JAXSPORTS Council Committee and TaxSlayer Bowl Committee.  He was selected to serve on the JAXSPORTS President’s Circle.  An avid sports fan, Heath enjoys watching the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Atlanta Braves and the Georgia Southern Eagles.
