Gulfport Office is Growing!

Carr Allison is pleased to announce the expansion of legal services to our clients with the addition of Nicole Collins Huffman and Nicole M. Harlan in the Gulfport, MS office.

AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, Nikki Huffman joins Carr Allison as counsel after serving as vice president of litigation for one of the nation’s largest providers of skilled nursing services, headquartered in Florida.  Her career has focused heavily on defending skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, physicians, nurses, CNAs and a variety of other healthcare providers.  In addition, she has counseled clients on risk management and compliance issues.   Having made the transition from local counsel to in-house counsel and back again, Nikki has a deep understanding of the importance of cost-conscious litigation strategies, thorough and timely reporting and effective communication that keeps the client informed at all stages of the litigation process.

Nikki earned her undergraduate degree from the University of West Florida and her JD from Mississippi College School of Law, achieving magna cum laude honors at each institution.  Her undergraduate scholastic performance allowed her to attend law school on a full academic scholarship.  She is licensed to practice law in five states: Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Kentucky and Michigan.

Also joining Carr Allison is Nikki Harlan, an associate who will focus her practice initially on workers’ compensation matters.  She earned her law degree from The University of Mississippi School of Law in 2017, graduating cum laude, where she was a member of the St. Thomas More Society.   A 2013 summa cum laude undergraduate of Mississippi State University, Nikki majored in English and was a member of the Society of Scholars.  Nikki is licensed to practice in Mississippi and before the Mississippi Supreme Court and the Chancery Court of Mississippi in Hinds County.
