Two new associates have joined Carr Allison’s Medicare Compliance Group in Birmingham where they will assist clients in matters related to the federal Medicare Secondary Payer Act.
Adam Hoekenschnieder received his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science, graduating cum laude, from the University of North Alabama. He earned his Juris Doctor from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University (AL). While in law school, Adam was selected by faculty to serve as a Judge Abraham Caruthers Teaching Fellow. He was also a member of the Richard L. Jones National Moot Court Team and served as an Associate Justice on the Henry Upson Sims Executive Moot Court Board.
Amber M. Parris received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English, cum laude, from the University of Alabama, where she was a member of the University Honors Program. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law, graduating cum laude. Amber served as Editor-in-Chief for The Journal of the Legal Profession while in law school and was a member on the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board. She also served as a law clerk for the Honorable T. Michael Putnam, magistrate judge in the Northern District of Alabama.
