Carr Allison Welcomes Scholl and Godwin

Carr Allison is pleased to welcome two new Associates to our Birmingham office.

Kyle A. Scholl joins Carr Allison’s Workers’ Compensation group.  He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Political Science from Auburn University and his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law.  While in law school, Kyle was a senior editor on the Cumberland Law Review and a member of Cumberland’s National Trial Team.  He served on Cumberland’s Trial Advocacy Board, directed the Parham H. Williams Trial Competition, and worked as a teaching assistant to the Honorable John L. Carroll, as well as to Professor Deborah Young in her trial advocacy skills classes.  Kyle won Cumberland’s James O. Haley Federal Trial Competition two consecutive years and was twice selected to receive the Nat Bryan ABOTA award for trial advocacy.  He was also named to Who’s Who Among Students In American Universities & Colleges.

Erin Godwin joins our Medicare Compliance Group (MSA) where her practice will assist clients with the federal Medicare Secondary Payer Act.  After receiving her undergraduate degree from Berry College where she graduated cum laude with a BS in Marketing, Erin earned her JD cum laude from Cumberland School of Law. While in law school, Erin served as an associate editor of the Cumberland Law Review and as a Judge Abraham Caruthers Teaching Fellow. Erin earned her MBA from the Brock School of Business at Samford University and was inducted into the international business honor society Beta Gamma Sigma.
