Carr Allison Selects Six New Shareholders and Two New Counsel

Carr Allison is pleased to announce that Katy Beth Carr (Florence, AL), Sarah J. Cross and E. Glenn Smith, Jr. (Mobile, AL), Dixie Daimwood (Tallahassee, FL), and Angel A. Darmer and Sara Beth DeLisle (Birmingham, AL) have been named as Shareholders.  Carrie H. Bates (Birmingham, AL) and Pamela Springrose Hallford (Dothan, AL) were named as Counsel.

Katy Beth Carr is resident in Carr Allison’s Florence, Alabama office.  She concentrates her practice on workers’ compensation, construction, and retail and hospitality.  Katy Beth is admitted to practice in all state courts in Alabama and Tennessee, as well as the Northern District of Alabama and the Middle and Eastern District Courts of Tennessee.

Sarah J. Cross practices in Carr Allison’s Mobile, Alabama office, where she defends companies and individuals in retail and hospitality liability, premises liability, workers’ compensation, complex litigation and general liability matters.

Dixie Daimwood is a Shareholder in the firm’s Tallahassee, Florida office.  Her extensive practice includes construction litigation, labor and employment defense, medical malpractice claims and transportation matters.  Before joining Carr Allison, Dixie represented the State of Florida before the Florida Supreme Court and First District Court of Appeal as a Senior Appellate Attorney at the Attorney General’s office.

Angel A. Darmer practices in Carr Allison’s Birmingham, Alabama office where she focuses on the defense of personal injury, premises liability, products liability, transportation and workers’ compensation matters.  She is actively involved in the Birmingham Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar and is fluent in Spanish.

Sara Beth DeLisle works in Carr Allison’s Birmingham, Alabama office.  She is a trial attorney experienced in commercial and complex litigation focusing in the areas of health care, products liability and transportation liability.

Glenn Smith, Jr., is resident in the firm’s Mobile office.  His practice concentrates on general litigation matters involving transportation, workers’ compensation, construction, premises liability and personal injury defense.  Glenn has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Mobile Bar Association, has served as the Chair for the Mobile Bar Association’s Entertainment Committee and previously sat on the Board of Directors for the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association.

Carrie H. Bates practices in Carr Allison’s Birmingham, Alabama office representing and defending companies, insurers and individuals in a wide variety of litigation matters including transportation, employment and workers’ compensation.

Pamela Springrose Hallford, resident in Carr Allison’s Dothan, Alabama office, focuses her practice on the defense of commercial motor carriers involved in catastrophic accidents.  She also offers guidance to transportation companies looking to implement new policies and is a member of the firm’s accident investigation GO TEAM.
