Sara Beth DeLisle is a shareholder in Carr Allison’s Birmingham (AL) office. She is a trial attorney experienced in commercial and complex litigation and has litigated matters in areas of health care, products liability and transportation liability. She is a member of Carr Allison’s accident response GO TEAM and has appeared in both state and federal courts. She is an active member of the Birmingham Bar Association.
Sara Beth earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law where she served as vice president of the Bench & Bar Legal Honor Society, vice president of the Dorbin Society and ambassador for the law school. She was a member of the Alabama Trial Advocacy Competition Team and a two-time recipient of the George “Peach” Taylor Award for Trial Advocacy Skills. Prior to joining Carr Allison, she served as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Robert S. Vance, Jr., a civil circuit judge in Birmingham.
Sara Beth earned her undergraduate degree with a major in political science and minor in French from Wake Forest University (NC), where she attended on a Division I volleyball scholarship. After graduating from Wake Forest, she worked in Washington, D.C. and then in Madrid, Spain.
Outside of the office, Sara Beth enjoys international travel, spending time with her loved ones, nature and yoga. She served on the board of the International Center, formerly known as the Birmingham International Center and the nation’s oldest cultural education organization. Sara Beth is a member of the Society of International Business Fellows (SIBF) and serves as a recruiter for the 2019 SIBF Leadership Academy.
