Nixon obtains Defense verdict

Faith Nixon of the Mobile office successfully defended her client in a circuit court jury trial in Baldwin County, Alabama.  The matter involved a rear end collision with clear liability on the part of Ms. Nixon’s client.  The plaintiff claimed she had suffered a rotator cuff injury which required surgical repair and asked the jury to award $40,000 in damages for her medical expenses and pain and suffering.  Ms. Nixon defended the litigation arguing that the plaintiff had not incurred damages in the motor vehicle accident.  After deliberating for only 1 ½ hours, the jury returned a defense verdict.
