Carr Allison shareholder Glenn Smith from our Mobile (AL) office earned a summary judgment in the Circuit Court of Escambia County, Florida. Glenn defended a company in the business of providing property insurance in the State of Florida from the first-party claims of a company which was providing professional engineering, measurement, and/or testing services under an invalid and improper assignment of benefits. Summary judgment was granted for the insurance company on all counts and the case was dismissed.
