Carr Allison Welcomes Ben Nye

Ben Nye is an associate in Carr Allison’s Birmingham (AL) office where his practice focuses on labor and employment, commercial litigation and general litigation.  Ben is an active member of the Arkansas Bar and is admitted to practice before all Arkansas state courts, as well as the US District Court, Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas.  His admission to the Alabama Bar is pending.

Ben received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arkansas with a major in political science.  He earned his Juris Doctor from Washington and Lee University (VA) School of Law.  While in law school, Ben served as lead articles editor of the Washington and Lee University Law Review.  He was also inducted into the Alpha Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa, a national leadership honor society, was named a Burks Scholar for research and writing and a Kirgis Fellow for mentoring first-year and transfer students into W&L’s law school.

A native of Little Rock (AR), Ben and his wife Madison relocated to Birmingham in 2020.  He volunteers at the Birmingham Botanical Garden and enjoys running and hiking, fishing and playing guitar.
