Carr Allison’s Ball and Windsor Win Defense Verdict

Shareholder Steven Ball and Associate Robert Windsor, from Carr Allison’s Birmingham (AL) office, successfully defended their client in an arbitration before the American Arbitration Association.

Ball and Windsor represented a defendant automobile dealership in an arbitration filed by a consumer. The consumer alleged that the automobile dealership had acted improperly and fraudulently while selling him an allegedly defective new automobile. The consumer alleged the defendant further acted improperly in its attempts to resolve the mechanical defects after purchase.

A final evidentiary hearing was held, wherein Ball and Windsor argued that the defendant had properly fulfilled all obligations to the consumer. Following the hearing, the Arbitrator entered a judgment for the defendant on all counts.
