Carr Allison Attorneys Published in USLAW Magazine Spring Issue

USLAW NETWORK, Inc., has published two articles by Carr Allison attorneys in the Spring 2019 issue.  Construction attorney Thomas S. Creel’s article “Six Cutting Edge Technologies to Improve Safety on Construction Sites” takes a close look at new technology being used in the construction industry to enhance safety for workers and job sites.  Creel, a shareholder in the Birmingham (AL) office, has more than 15  years practicing law related to construction litigation, in particular, the defense of both contractors and design professionals in construction defect cases.

Elizabeth “Betsy” Burgess and Chris Barkas of our Tallahassee (FL) office co-authored “Liar Liar Pants on Fire: Why we should file more Motions to Dismiss for Fraud” which explores how motions to dismiss for fraud trends are changing and outlines innovative filing strategies.  Betsy is a shareholder whose practice includes premises liability, employment practices liability, community/homeowner association disputes and transportation matters.  Chris, also a shareholder, focuses on the defense of commercial vehicle, employment-related and retail/premises liability claims.

USLAW NETWORK is an international organization composed of more than 60 independent, defense-based law firms with roots in civil litigation, both nationally and internationally.  USLAW Magazine, published twice annually, addresses legal and business issues facing commercial and corporate clients.
