Carr Allison Adds Five Attorneys in Birmingham

Carr Allison has added five new associates to the firm’s Birmingham Office:  Hannah R. Darby, William C. Hoffman, Jr., Elizabeth L. Pratt, Grant L. Smith and Dennis Vann, Jr.

Hannah Darby’s practice will focus on defending matters relating to retail and hospitality, premises liability and products liability.  She graduated from the University of Alabama, summa cum laude and earned her law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law.

William Hoffman received his Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law.  His practice will focus on workers’ compensation litigation.

Elizabeth Pratt earned her undergraduate’s degree from the University of Alabama, magna cum laude and received her Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law.  She is a member of the firm’s transportation group and will also handle a variety of litigation matters including premises liability and personal injury.

Grant Smith’s general litigation practice will include the areas of premises liability, transportation, construction and products liability.  He received his bachelor’s degree from Auburn University and his Juris Doctor form the University of Alabama School of Law.

Dennis Vann’s practice involves the defense of health care, nursing and pharmacy, professional liability and transportation matters.  He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee and earned his Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from University of Georgia School of Law.  Dennis is admitted to practice in all Alabama and Georgia state courts.
