Aaron Wiley and Faith Nixon successfully defended their client in a circuit court jury trial in Monroe County, Alabama. The matter involved a rear-end accident in a private parking lot. The Plaintiff claimed that he suffered a torn shoulder labrum, among other injuries, and required two surgeries. The Plaintiff asked the jury for extensive damages, including lost wages, pain and suffering, mental anguish and property damage. At trial, Wiley argued that the Plaintiff’s alleged injuries were not caused by the Defendant’s actions. After deliberating for only 14 minutes, the jury returned with a defense verdict.
