Carr Allison Welcomes New Associates

Carr Allison is pleased to welcome Chase S. Eley, Mark A. Dowdy, Anna T. Miller, Grace Van Dyke and Aaron M. Wiley as the firm’s newest Associates.

Chase S. Eley joins Carr Allison’s Workers’ Compensation group in Birmingham.  Chase received his BA from the University of Alabama and earned his JD from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.

Mark A. Dowdy, resident in Carr Allison’s Mobile office.  His practice covers construction, products liability, environmental, professional liability, toxic torts, transportation, complex litigation, appellate advocacy, general liability, corporate law and mediation.  Mark received his BA from Auburn University before attending the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, earning his JD.

Associate Anna T. Miller joins Carr Allison’s Medicare Compliance team in Birmingham where she will assist clients with the federal Medicare Secondary Payer Act.  Anna received her BA from the University of Alabama.  She earned her JD from the University of Alabama School of Law.

Grace Van Dyke resides in Carr Allison’s Chattanooga office.  Her practice includes premises liability, transportation and construction.  Grace graduated from The University of Tennessee before earning her JD from Emory University School of Law.

Aaron M. Wiley is an Associate in our Mobile office.  His practice covers general liability, products liability, retail and hospitality, construction, transportation and insurance matters.  Aaron graduated from Auburn University before attending the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, earning his JD.

Sausaman Prevails on a Motion for Summary Judgment

Alison H. Sausaman of our Jacksonville (FL) office prevailed on a motion for summary judgment in federal court on behalf of a national convenience store chain. The court agreed that rain on an asphalt parking lot was not a dangerous condition and granted final judgment in our client’s favor.
