Katy Beth Carr is a shareholder in the Florence, Alabama office of Carr Allison where her practice focuses on general litigation matters throughout Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Katy Beth defends employers throughout north Alabama and Tennessee in workers’ compensation cases. Her diversified practice also includes the representation of clients in the areas of transportation, workers’ compensation, premises liability, professional liability and personal injury.
Katy Beth is admitted to practice in all state courts in Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, as well as the Western, Middle and Eastern Districts of Tennessee. Katy Beth is experienced in litigation and has successfully obtained summary judgment on behalf of her clients.
Katy Beth earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Birmingham-Southern College, receiving a distinction in leadership studies. She earned her Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University (AL).
In addition to her legal work, Katy Beth is actively involved in the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association and locally with the Lauderdale County Bar Association. She also serves as President for the Board of Directors for the Florence-Lauderdale Port Authority.
When Katy Beth isn’t working, she enjoys spending her time outside boating on the Tennessee River or kayaking down a local creek.
