Katy Beth Carr is a shareholder in the Florence, Alabama office of Carr Allison where her practice focuses on general litigation matters. Katy Beth defends employers throughout north Alabama and Tennessee in workers’ compensation claims. Her diversified practice also includes the representation of commercial motor carriers involved in catastrophic accidents. Katy Beth is a member of the firm’s accident investigation GO TEAM. Katy Beth also provides assistance to a variety of clients in north Alabama, north Mississippi, and Tennessee on premises liability, professional liability, and general liability claims.
Katy Beth is admitted to practice in all state courts in Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Alabama, Northern District of Mississippi, as well as the Western, Middle, and Eastern Districts of Tennessee. Katy Beth is experienced in litigation and has successfully obtained summary judgment on behalf of her clients.
Katy Beth earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Birmingham-Southern College (AL), receiving a distinction in Leadership Studies. She earned her Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University (AL).
In addition to her legal work, Katy Beth serves as the Board of Directors President of the Florence-Lauderdale County Port Authority. Katy Beth is past Executive Board member of the Junior League of the Shoals.
