Daniel earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, in history from the University of Mississippi. He then earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Alabama. While in law school, Daniel was the senior editor of the Alabama Law Review and a member of the Alabama Trial Advocacy Board and the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society.

In his free time, Daniel enjoys watching movies and baking. On weekends, he often visits the zoo or goes thrifting with his fiance, Olivia. He has two pets, a cat named Louise and a turtle named Fanta.
