WE ARE HIRING!

Carr Allison ranks among the fastest-growing litigation firms in the Southeast. We currently have offices in Auburn, Birmingham, Florence, Mobile and Dothan (AL), as well as in Jacksonville, Orlando, Pensacola and Tallahassee (FL), Atlanta and Brunswick (GA), Gulfport (MS) and Chattanooga (TN).

Our mission is to provide superior service to our clients on a cost-effective and timely basis. The firm primarily handles litigation for employers, retailers and the transportation industry.

Carr Allison utilizes its summer clerking program as the primary source of new Associates for our thirteen offices. The firm also has occasional openings for experienced trial attorneys.

ATTORNEYS

The firm currently has openings for experienced litigation attorneys in Birmingham, Jacksonville and Tallahassee (FL).

Carr Allison continues to enjoy steady growth in all of its offices. Though most of our new attorneys are hired through the summer clerking program, we occasionally seek associates and partners with specific litigation experience.

From the outset of their practice at the firm, new lawyers are given genuine responsibilities and tasks including contact with clients, attendance at hearings, taking depositions and participating in trials.

Our associate pay is competitive within the local market and the firm provides for family health insurance, a $100,000 life insurance policy, long-term disability insurance, malpractice insurance and a 401k/profit sharing plan (eligibility requires one year of service), as well as all professional dues and continuing legal education fees.

The firm maintains updated technology and each associate is assigned a secretary and paralegal.

SUMMER CLERK PROGRAM

Carr Allison maintains a robust and competitive summer clerkship program for rising 1L and 2L law students. We offer a six-week session that takes place during the first part of the summer and is typically available in each of our 13 offices located across our five-state, Southeastern footprint.  Our program is committed to exposing our clerks to all aspects of the practice of civil defense litigation, enabling you to gain as broad a range of experience as possible.

Successful candidate selection is determined considering academic success, strong communication and interpersonal skills, maturity and drive.  Through structured and unstructured opportunities to interact with a diverse group of attorneys and clients, you will learn first-hand from some of the best attorneys in the country.  Our mentor-mentee arrangement facilitates myriad opportunities for your professional growth and intellectual development.

We are intentionally selective with our clerkship hires, as our program is designed to align with the successful hiring of first-year associates who desire long-term satisfaction and successful affiliation with Carr Allison.
