Professional Profile
Rachel Holt is an associate in Carr Allison’s Mobile (AL) office. Her practice focuses on general and commercial litigation and defending matters of transportation and retail and hospitality.
Rachel has experience in personal injury litigation including negotiations, settlements and trials. While working for a mid-size personal injury law firm, she managed caseloads of over 250 claims and worked on several multi-million dollar high profile cases.
Rachel earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in public relations with a minor in political science from the University of Alabama. While at Alabama, she was a J.L. Bedsole Scholar, president of the University of Alabama Stewards and the 2018 SGA Executive Director of Homecoming. She was also a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society, the Cardinal Key Junior Honor Society, the Rho Lambda Honor Society, Alpha Chi Omega and involved in other on-campus organizations.
Rachel then earned her Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University (AL). While in law school, she received multiple of Cumberland’s Scholar of Merit awards, was the Trial Advocacy Board Associate Judge of Alternative Dispute Resolution and on the Arbitration team. Rachel was also a member of the Judge James Edwin Inn of Court, Cumberland’s Women in Law and Cumberland’s Alabama Student Bar Association.
As a Daphne (AL) native, Rachel is excited to be back home practicing law. In her free time, she and her husband enjoy being on the water and in the sunshine.
