Professional Profile

Katy Melchiorre serves as counsel in Carr Allison’s Orlando (FL) office. She is admitted to practice in Florida and is a member of the Orange County Bar Association. Her practice focuses on defending matters involving retail and hospitality and premises liability.

Katy graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a Bachelor of Science in telecommunication. She earned her Juris Doctor, also cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. During law school, she was Executive Articles Editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy and received the Book Award for earning the highest grade in her legal research class. She served as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing, Appellate Advocacy, and Trial Practice.

Outside of her legal practice, Katy enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, running, and cheering for the Florida Gators and Philadelphia sports teams.
