Jon Hancock is an associate in Carr Allison’s Birmingham (AL) office. His practice focuses on defending labor and employment matters.

Jon earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees in Secondary Education from the University of Alabama. Following his time at Alabama, he worked as an educator in Tuscaloosa (AL) and Memphis (TN). He then earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Memphis School of Law. While in law school, Jon served as senior articles editor for the Memphis Law Review, president of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and treasurer of the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He also received CALI Awards in Civil Procedure I, Property I and Sales.

A Birmingham native, Jon returned home following law school while his wife completes her medical residency in UAB’s Radiology program. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, board games and all things football.
