Professional Profile

Esmee Vera-Benavidez serves as counsel in Carr Allison’s Tallahassee (FL) office. Her practice focuses on defending matters of construction, condominium and community association, premises liability and insurance.

Prior to joining Carr Allison, Esmee represented homeowners and carriers in first-party property insurance defense, handling property damage claims and developing experience in litigation, negotiation and claims strategy. She is also bilingual, being able to fluently speak, read and write in both English and Spanish.

Esmee earned her Bachelor of Science degree in social work from Florida International University. She then earned her Juris Doctor from the Barry University School of Law (FL).

In her free time, Esmee enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and kids. She also loves to read and volunteer at her church.
