E. Glenn Smith, Jr. is a shareholder in the firm’s Mobile, Alabama office. Glenn’s practice concentrates on general litigation matters involving transportation litigation, workers’ compensation, construction, premises liability and personal injury defense. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, where he was a four-year letterman in football. Glenn went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University (AL).
Glenn is licensed to practice in both Alabama and Florida. He is an AV-rated attorney through Martindale-Hubbell. Glenn actively participates in the South Alabama Volunteer Lawyers Program, helping provide legal aid to individuals who are not able to afford an attorney. He is involved in the Mobile Bar Association where he is a member of the Workers’ Compensation Section and the Mobile Bar Executive Committee. In addition, Glenn is a member of the Baldwin County Bar Association.
He has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Mobile Bar Association, served as the Chair for the Mobile Bar Association Entertainment Committee and previously sat on the Board of Directors for the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association.
When he is away from the office, Glenn enjoys Alabama football games, golf, and spending time with his wife and son.
