Dorris “Trey” Jernigan, III is an associate in Carr Allison’s Birmingham (AL) office. His practice focuses on defending matters of premises liability, retail and hospitality, personal injury and general litigation.

Trey earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business and economics from Auburn University (AL). He then earned his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University (AL). While in law school, Trey won the Parham H. Williams Trial Competition, was a recipient of the Starnes Davis Florie LLP Trial Advocacy Scholarship and was on the Dean’s List. He was also involved in the Alabama Student Bar Association, the Air and Space Law Society and served as an editor for the American Journal of Trial Advocacy (vol. 47 & 48).

In his free time, Trey loves cheering on the Auburn Tigers, keeping up with the latest movies and TV shows and attending concerts.
