Alexander G. Criswell is an associate in Carr Allison’s Florence (AL) office. His practice focuses on defending matters of transportation, premises liability, workers’ compensation and general litigation.

Alex earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Memphis Lambuth Campus (TN). He then earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law. During law school, Alex served in many leadership roles, earning recognition as the Outstanding Student, an award given by the Inter-Professional Education Board. Alex served as a legal extern to the Honorable Judge David A. Sanders, US Magistrate Judge of the Northern District of Mississippi. He then acted as a legal extern to the Honorable Jason D. Woodard, Chief US Bankruptcy Judge of the Northern District of Mississippi and later as a legal extern to the District Attorney’s Office of the 17th district of Mississippi. Currently, Alex is a member of the Howell Edmunds Jackson American Inn of Court.

In his free time, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife and watching sports.
