Professional Profile

Alex Townsley is an associate in the firm’s Mobile (AL) office where he has spent his entire legal career. His practice concentrates on a wide variety of litigation matters in which he defends companies and individuals in retail and hospitality liability, premises liability, professional liability, workers’ compensation and transportation matters.

Alex is admitted to practice in Alabama state courts and the Southern District of Alabama. He has been successful in obtaining summary judgment in both state and federal court in Alabama.

Alex earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Auburn University, and his Master of Business Administration from Samford University (AL). He obtained his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School Law at Samford University. While at Cumberland, Alex served as the Editor in Chief of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, Volume 43.

A father of young children, Alex and his wife Rachel spend most of their free time chasing their son and daughter around.
