Professional Profile
Alex Townsley is an associate in the firm’s Mobile (AL) office where he began his legal career as a two-time summer clerk. In his practice, he handles a wide variety of legal matters defending companies and individuals against claims involving personal injury, premises liability, professional liability, retail and hospitality, transportation and workers’ compensation.
Alex is admitted to practice in Alabama state courts and the Southern District of Alabama. He has been successful in obtaining summary judgments in state and federal courts in Alabama.
Alex earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Auburn University and his Master of Business Administration from Samford University (AL). He obtained his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. While at Cumberland, Alex served as the editor-in-chief of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy (vol 43).
A father of young children, Alex and his wife Rachel spend most of their free time chasing their son and daughter around.
