Jay Baker is an associate in Carr Allison’s Birmingham (AL) office. His practice focuses on defending matters of workers’ compensation, premises liability, general litigation and personal injury.

Jay earned his Bachelor of Science degree in animal sciences from Auburn University (AL). While at Auburn, he worked at the Auburn University Equine Center where he was responsible for feeding the animals, administering medications and general farm work. Jay then earned his Juris Doctor from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law (AL). Following his time at Jones, Jay worked as an Assistant District Attorney for Lee County gaining valuable experience in jury trials and various case types.

In his free time, Jay enjoys spending quality time with his family and supporting the Auburn Tigers.
