At Carr Allison, our retail practice group and associated attorneys are committed to achieving and maintaining the highest standards of responsiveness, substantive expertise, and quality of service for our retail clients. Our retail practice understands and appreciates the unusual challenges which face the retail industry across the board.  Our retail clients receive the advantage of our firm’s vast experience in handling a broad spectrum of claims which generally impact the retail industry; including workers compensation, premises or general liability litigation, employment and transportation type claims.

We focus on attaining the best results on behalf of our clients, while appreciating the importance of minimizing legal expenses. We at Carr Allison appreciate the importance of ensuring that both an experienced and “local” attorney is assigned to taking the lead in defending a claim. Through our firm’s thirteen offices, our retail clients therefore have attorneys who are experienced, aggressive, and local trial lawyers who translate their acquired knowledge into better verdicts, lower settlements and reduced legal expenses.

Our goal is to partner with our clients and their insurers/third party administrators to handle their business matters more efficiently. We focus on the bottom line and, as a matter of practice, continually look for creative means of decreasing our clients’ total expenditure on claims.

Our role typically begins before suit is filed assisting our clients in developing those cases which should and can hopefully be defended and tried to a successful resolution when prudent and appropriate.  Our vast knowledge of the judiciary and Plaintiff’s Bar in each County provides us with an advantage in forecasting the anticipated progress of a claim. As we share this acknowledge relating to potential claims and we in turn are educating our clients about risk management and on the latest trends in the law that affect their business.
