Professional Profile
Nicole “Nikki” Calderon is an associate in Carr Allison’s Jacksonville (FL) office. Her practice focuses on defending matters of premises liability, transportation, products liability and retail and hospitality.
Prior to joining Carr Allison, Nikki interned for the public defender’s office of the Ninth Circuit and for a trademark, copyright and patent firm. She also worked as a contracts specialist for a taxes and accounting firm and a legal assistant for an estate planning firm in Orlando (FL).
Nikki earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees, cum laude, in political science, Spanish and Portuguese with a minor in Latin American studies from the University of Florida. Nikki then earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While in law school, she was president of the Intellectual Property & Technology Law Association, vice-president of the Latino Law Student Association and chair of intramural competitions for the Trial Team. Additionally, Nikki worked as a Gator Guru tutoring first-year students and as a teaching assistant for a trial practice course. She also completed independent study research regarding copyright law’s “Fair Use” and its relation to jurisprudence in social media law.
In her free time, Nikki enjoys traveling and outdoor sports, mainly playing beach volleyball.
