Professional Profile
Michael Holmes is an associate in Carr Allison’s Chattanooga (TN) office. His practice focuses on defending matters of premises liability, professional liability, construction and general litigation.
Michael has experience in the areas of civil litigation, bankruptcy, commercial, business and consumer protection, handling entire matters from drafting motions through negotiations and settlements. He also clerked for two years for the Honorable Shelley Rucker, chief judge of the US Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.
Michael earned his Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga in philosophy and religion with a minor in history, graduating with department honors. A Memphis (TN) native, Michael earned his law degree from the University of Memphis School of Law.
In his free time, Michael enjoys fishing, playing guitar and reading. He also enjoys staying active by cycling, playing volleyball and hiking with his wife.
