Matthew T. Dorius is a shareholder in the Medicare Compliance Group of Carr Allison in its Birmingham (AL) office. Matt assists clients nationwide with hundreds of cases each year, has presented and written articles on various Medicare compliance issues and has developed client policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the Medicare Secondary Payer Act.
In every case, Matt is committed to advocating his clients’ interests to CMS. He has successfully argued to CMS for million of dollars in MSA reductions and successfully challenged conditional payment claims and Medicare Advantage Plan liens in thousands of cases. Matt also handles and advises on Section 111 reporting for various insurance carriers and self-insured clients.
Matt grew up in Memphis, Tennessee and played rugby for the University of Oklahoma. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife and their four children.
