Professional Profile
George Reynolds is an associate in Carr Allison’s Tallahassee (FL) office. He is admitted to practice in Florida and the US District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. He focuses his practice on defending matters involving construction, retail and hospitality, labor and employment, professional liability and environmental.
Prior to joining Carr Allison, George served as the special counsel for litigation for the Florida Department of Transportation where he represented the department in both civil and administrative litigation. He is experienced in bid protests, suspension and debarment, contractual disputes, and litigation, as well as eminent domain, inverse condemnation and challenges to both state and federal environmental permits. George also previously served as assistant legal counsel to the Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency for the City of Tallahassee and Leon County.
George graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in communications and a minor in business. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Florida State University. He also graduated summa cum laude with his Master of Law in Environmental Law & Policy degree from Florida State University. He is a published author and has twice obtained the cover article for the Florida Bar Journal. In 2023, George received the Excellence in Writing Award from the Florida Bar Journal & News Editorial Board for his article “Murky Bottoms: Sovereign Submerged Land, Riparian Rights, and Locating the Highwater Line”.
A Tallahassee native, George is a lifelong member and former deacon of Faith Presbyterian Church. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and watching college sports.
