Professional Profile

Dara serves as counsel in Carr Allison’s Jacksonville (FL) office. She practices in the areas of insurance coverage, premises liability, trucking and transportation, first party property windshield litigation and general litigation. Prior to joining Carr Allison, Dara graduated magna cum laude from Maryville College (TN) with a Bachelor of Arts in international studies and political science. She received her Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law, graduating magna cum laude with a certification in advanced legal research, writing and drafting.

During law school, Dara was selected for the Moot Court Honor Board where she competed in several national competitions earning two best brief awards. She also served as executive editor of the Florida Coastal Law Review.

Dara is licensed to practice in Florida and the US District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the Jacksonville Bar Association.

Outside of work, Dara enjoys spending time with her husband, Steven, and their three children. She also enjoys doing CrossFit, hiking, and reading.
