Blaine Goodwin is an associate in Carr Allison’s Birmingham (AL) office where his practice focuses on the defense of matters involving construction, workers’ compensation and general litigation. Blaine is admitted to practice in Alabama and before Alabama Courts.

A summa cum laude graduate of Samford University (AL) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in classics, Blaine went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, again graduating summa cum laude. While in law school, Blaine was a member of the Cumberland Law Review and the National Moot Court team.  He participated in multiple Moot Court competitions, placing as first-runner up in the Donworth competition.  In addition to being recognized as a Class of 2020 Dean’s scholar, Blaine was named to the Dean’s List each semester and named Scholar of Merit multiple times.

A native of Vestavia (AL), Blaine plays classical and acoustic guitar and composes songs. He has performed British and Celtic folk music at local venues. Blaine also enjoys reading and studying early Christian literature from the 1st-4th centuries, as well as listening to a wide variety of music and spending time with family.
