Betty graduated cum laude from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts in middle eastern studies and a minor in communications. While there, Betty served as editor-in-chief of the Florida Journal of International Law and president/founder of the Middle Eastern Law Students Association. Prior to joining Carr Allison, Betty served as a legal extern at the Florida Supreme Court and an attorney at the Public Defender’s Office, 4th Judicial Circuit.

Born and raised in Jacksonville (FL), Betty enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and goldendoodle. She also loves to gather with friends and family, trying new restaurants, cooking and traveling.
