Andrea Zigelsky serves as counsel in Carr Allison’s Orlando (FL) office. Her practice focuses on the defense of personal injury and premises liability matters.
Since 2005, Andrea has represented insurers, businesses and individuals in third-party liability and first-party property litigation. Prior to joining Carr Allison, she served as a partner with a Florida law firm focused on insurance defense. Andrea’s extensive litigation experience is complemented by more than 20 years of nursing experience, providing a unique perspective in the defense of claims involving significant injuries and complex medical issues. Before becoming an attorney, she worked as a registered nurse in intensive care, trauma, open-heart, cardiac, post-surgical recovery and medical-surgical settings, while also serving in management and leadership roles. Her clinical background enables her to effectively analyze medical records, evaluate causation and damages issues and collaborate with medical experts throughout the litigation process.
Andrea earned her Associate of Arts from the University of Florida. She went on to earn both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Barry University (FL). Andrea later earned her Juris Doctor, along with a Health Law Concentration Certificate, from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law (FL).
Outside the office, Andrea supports community organizations including Treasure Coast Food Bank and Helping Hands.
