Professional Profile
Brittany Lezu is an associate in Carr Allison’s Chattanooga (TN) office. Her practice focuses on defending matters of premises liability, transportation and construction.
Brittany earned her Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Tennessee, majoring in public administration and political science with a minor in economics. She then earned her Master of Education in elementary education from Lincoln Memorial University (TN).
After earning her master’s degree, Brittany was a licensed elementary school teacher for Knox County Schools (TN), teaching second and third grades for seven years.
After her time as a teacher, Brittany went back to school and earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law (TN). While in law school, she was an articles editor for The University of Memphis Law Review, Volume 55, student justice for Honor Council, professional liaison for the Association of Women Attorneys, vice president of the Federal Bar Association and was a research assistant. Additionally, she received the Top Advocate Award in the First-Year Moot Court Competition.
In her free time, Brittany enjoys reading, working out and watching University of Tennessee football. She also enjoys spending time with her two kids and her husband.
