Professional Profile

Sophia Brough is an associate in Carr Allison’s Birmingham (AL) office. Her practice involves the defense of claims involving transportation, professional liability and medical malpractice.

Sophia earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Samford University (AL) in English with a minor in classics. She then earned her Juris Doctor from Samford University Cumberland School of Law.

While in law school, Sophia was a research and writing editor on the editorial board of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, a blog editor and manager for the Center for Children, Law and Ethics and a member of the Henry Upson Sims Moot Court Board. She was also awarded many honors including the George M. Stewart Banking Award and multiple CALI Awards.

When Sophia is not working, she enjoys playing tennis, fishing and watching historical documentaries.
