Madelyn “Mallie” Brocato is an associate with the Medicare Compliance Group of Carr Allison and is a resident in our Birmingham (AL) office. Her practice focuses on assisting clients with the federal Medicare Secondary Payer Act.

Mallie earned her Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in public health, with a minor in communications, from the University of Alabama. She then earned her Master of Laws in health law and compliance, as well as her Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University (AL). While at Cumberland, she served as team captain of the Health Care Transactions Competition Team and president of the Student Health Lawyers Association. She also won the CALI Award for Scholar of Merit in American Law Practice & Procedure and Scholar of Merit in Health Care Transactions.

In her free time, Mallie watches Auburn sports, reads, travels and often spends time with her identical twin sister.
