Michael P. Orta is a shareholder in Carr Allison’s Jacksonville (FL) office. His practice is focused on the defense of claims involving of personal injury, insurance, general litigation and extra contractual, fraud and punitive damages.
Michael earned his Bachelor of Arts from Bucknell University (PA), where he concentrated his studies in intellectual history. He went on to earn a Master of Business Administration degree from the College of William and Mary (VA), with concentrations in entrepreneurship and real estate development. Michael then earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law.
Outside of law, Michael is a dad to three children. He is a lifelong Jacksonville Jaguars fan, a proud Georgia Bulldogs alumnus, a pitmaster and an avid film enthusiast. He also enjoys family trips to Disney and building LEGO® sets with his kids.
