Megan Harsh is experienced in managing cases as lead counsel for all aspects of litigation in courts throughout Georgia. She has defended depositions for plaintiffs, defendants, witnesses and experts and handled cases from initiation to trial. Megan’s client-centric approach allows her to oversee and manage all aspects of her cases, making sure her clients stay informed and involved in a timely fashion.

Resident in Carr Allison’s Atlanta office, Megan focuses her practice on the defense of matters involving businesses and corporations in civil actions involving automobile accidents, premises liability, contracts, and first party claims. She brings in-depth understanding of civil actions especially when defending matters of premises liability, insurance coverage, and auto accidents. Megan also brings extensive knowledge of creditor rights and bankruptcy having represented creditors in all aspects of commercial litigation, collections and bankruptcy proceedings in Chapters 7, 11 and 13. Her experience includes handling cases from initiation of pre-judgment matters to post-judgment collection on matters ranging from $10 thousand to $15 million. Megan has managed all aspects of requests and responses to discovery, participated in mediations, conducted negotiations and appeared for in-court matters for clients in courts throughout the state of Georgia, including first chair jury trials.

Originally from Tecumseh, Michigan, Megan traveled to the South to obtain both her undergraduate and law degrees. She now officially calls the South her home, residing in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and their German Shepherd, Cooper. In her free time, Megan enjoys cooking, reading and watching football (War Eagle!).
