Carr Allison is committed to the effective representation of transportation companies in all aspects of personal injury, property damage and cargo litigation.  A focus of our practice at Carr Allison is the representation of clients in cases involving the transport of goods by motor carriers. We represent most of the top carriers listed in Transport Topics Top 100 For-Hire Carriers.  The firm’s transportation team also handles matters for the major insurers of motor carriers.  Additionally, our attorneys represent railway companies in litigation resulting from crossing accidents and related matters. Carr Allison regularly undertakes the defense of claims by injured transportation workers under state workers’ compensation actions or federal FELA actions.

Our transportation attorneys routinely represent clients in state and federal courts throughout the Southeast.  We also handle administrative matters with the Department of Transportation and have a working relationship with the various states’ Departments of Transportation and Public Safety. We are prepared to advance the interests of motor carriers and their insurers in alternative dispute resolution forums as well as the appellate courts.  While we seek to aggressively defend motor carriers at trial in an effort to obtain favorable jury verdicts, we focus on confidential and cost-effective methods of resolving litigation claims against our transportation clients.
